Description

SNOT! is a singleplayer platformer for mobile devices. It is a 2D side-scroller, in which the player controls a sticky ball of snot, which uses its physical properties to overcome challenges. Similar to games Gish and Soundshapes snot has the ability to stick to objects, allowing the player to climb vertical slopes, or hang upside down.

History

We started out as a small group of people, who would sneak into a local university during after-hours to pitch, discuss, and develop various game ideas. This process lead to the original idea of SNOT!, which was later awarded funding by the Nordic Game Program. This meant we would be able to afford a real office (woohoo!). Further financial backing from EU Media Desk allowed us to keep going. During development SNOT! has gone through many changes, including a change in engine tech, shift in target platform, and numerous design iterations.
